Dominique used a variety of materials such as charcoals, acrylic paints, gold leafing, and oils to accomplish the final result of this painting. 

"This deep and mystical painting invites the viewer on a cosmic journey. The artist, with masterful use of light and shadow, seemingly pulls the spectator to the brink of the unknown. The central young figure is depicted on the threshold of a celestial door; with an outstretched body and closed eyes, they appear to be experiencing a transcendent state. The somber, golden-toned forest surrounding the figure both envelops and elevates them, while the crescent-shaped luminous opening in the background evokes the feeling of a window to a universal dimension. The entire painting resembles a puzzle, inviting the viewer to unravel the mysteries hidden beyond the visible. In this work, where the perception of time and space becomes ambiguous, the artist reveals the metaphysical quest within the depths of the subconscious in a mysterious language. This painting draws me from one trance to another; with each gaze, I discover a new layer, experiencing a spiritual purification."
